Emily studied for her degree in silversmithing at London’s Cass School of Art, Architecture & Design from 2014 - 2017. Focusing on emotive designs, simple shapes and pure materiality her work reflects a deep connection to both material and form. From her home in Whitby, North Yorkshire, she creates studio and bespoke jewellery that speaks to the beauty of simplicity. Every piece Emily designs is not only a wearable artwork but also an expression of her belief that jewellery should evoke emotion and a sense of connection.

Her process is deeply personal, relying on traditional silversmithing techniques. Each piece is a stand alone design, allowing imperfections to become part of the narrative—a testament to the artistry and individuality of handmade jewellery. These subtle variations are not flaws but marks of the maker, capturing the gestures and emotions that go into each piece and allowing the material to reveal its own story. Imperfection becomes a reflection of authenticity and individuality.

“Your sensitivity responds to an unknown call, a strange signal. Therefore, you may shift from intense and absolute feelings to cruel indifference. Although you don’t know why, you are being transformed”
